This paper addresses a topic of academic interest and social potential to promote and enhance integration of students with disabilities in the university. The research attempts to capture a dual purpose: to know the characteristics and situation of students with disabilities at the University of Burgos in relation to factors that can influence the educational integration, and analyze the attitudes that the university community has towards people with disabilities and attitudes as perceived by students with disabilities. The methodology is descriptive-interpretative and correlational. The field work carried out falls into the University of Burgos during the academic year 2008/2009. The samples consist of 30 students with disabilities, 298 teachers and 669 students. As instruments have been used three questionnaires and a standardized Attitudes Scale. The data have been processed on a computer using SPSS 18.0 for PC Windosws.
