Abstract

Abstract: A coordinated comunity, also known as knowledge team, whose objective is to develope a new industrial product following the premises of the concurrent engineering, will need several knowledges to develop its activity with the most efficiency and in the shorter period of time. According to this, it's possible to identify how the knowledge flows through the different communication relations established between the team members. The use of the Knowledge Path Method (KPM), sostained over several knowledge ratios, will be the key factor to reach the objectives set by the project. Appears then a concept, know as virtual knowledge, that will allow to project to all levels the knowledge kept inside the different organization levels. Key words: Knowledge team, concurrent engineering, Knowledge Path Method (KPM), knowledge ratios, virtual knowledge.
