Resumen

Pound believes that the decline and the disintegration of western civilization can be saved and made anew by searching for the eastern concept of order, that is, the vision of a society formulated and regulated by Confucius. Such a vision of a society formulated and regulated by Confucius. Such a vision can be traced and adopted by looking into the History of China. The publication of the China Cantos is an attempt to recapitulate the traditional Chinese History so as to demonstrate his full conviction that Confucianism is the only key to western salvation. Apart from that, all the historical events and sources mentioned in The Cantos prove that the West can also learn many things from millenary China.
