Abstract

There are many changes that currently affect urban spaces, resulting in an increase in the use of vehicles. Every day people make more and more trips in their private vehicle, for their daily life, and especially, to develop their work activity. Among occupational accidents, traffic accidents are about 11% of the total of work-related accidents. In addition, traffic accidents are much more serious, due to the inherent danger of driving a vehicle and the constant attention needed to carry out this activity. The mobility model adopted by today'S society is neither healthy nor sustainable. In this thesis we have studied the circumstances in which accidents occur, through the analysis of the variables given to obtain these figures for road traffic accidents, which have each year higher percentages of traffic accidents.
