Resum

The connection of the architect Vicente Lampérez and Romea with the city of Burgos was developed between 1887 and 1918, a period dedicated to the conservation and maintenance of the Cathedral. His presence in this city caused him to receive orders from private individuals to design residential buildings. This was the case of the brothers Alejo and Pablo Manero and Zamora who in 1906 asked him to design a building on the site of Progreso Street, current number 18. The building reveals distinction, refinement and good taste, typical of the know-how of Vicente Lampérez and Romea.
