Abstract
The reaction of [AgR] (R=2,4,6-C6F3H2, C6F5 or C6Cl5) with neutral ligands L (L=pyridine, 3-fluoropyridine, tetrahydrothiophene or 2,2′-bipyridyl) gives [Ag2R2L]. The same complexes are obtained by reaction of NBu4[AgR2] with [AgL2]ClO4. The 19F NMR spectra suggest the presence of bridging perfluorophenyl groups and a tetranuclear structure is proposed. © 1994.
