Resumo

The aim of this paper is to establish multivariates typologies around the construct of Effective Personality in the context of Primary Education. We applied the Personality Effective Questionnaire for second and third cycle of primary education (Fueyo, Martin and Dapelo, 2010) to a sample of 1030 students of this educational stage. The result is four clusters: a cluster with high scores on the four factors of the questionnaire (Type III), another cluster with low scores on the four factors (Type I) and two clusters with high scores in two of the four factors (Type II self Demands and self Challenges and Type III self Strengths and self Relations). It describes the differential characteristics of these four types, as well as educational implications arising from the personal and social competence profiles that define each type.
