Abstract

Find a stable pattern of premorbid behavior in Alzheimer's patients, from a relation between cognition and personality, allowing predict the possible changes of older people with a predisposition to the disease. At the same regard, finding a stable pattern of behavior to be described specifically and systematically Alzheimer Personality. Finally, it is intended, from the relation between cognition and personality, also between Alzheimer's patients and higher normal aging people, propose a meta-analysis about the mental operations and structures in these patients in order to predict behavior and contribute to the development a new type of cognitive rehabilitation. We found a stable pattern of pre-morbid behavior from the relation about cognition and personality. Statistical data shows that the responsibility and cognition changed before first symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. Meanwhile, when the patient shows changes in amiability stands throughout the disease phases and other parameters (neuroticism opening, responsibility and extroversion) changes with the level of the disease. Considering the same relation, we found the following relation: changes in memory and attention, have influence in the state of neuroticism so there is a cognitively correlation between memory and attention, we mean, attention changes memory and vice-versa. When memory and neuroticism related, the opening and kindness changes.
