Abstract

The purpose of the work has been the search for possible correlations between the Jungian psychological types and Burnout Disorder. The choice, on the one hand, of the Jungian typology is to corroborate in practice its validity in current psychotherapy. On the other hand, Burnout Disorder has been chosen because it is a syndrome that is increasingly present in our society. This study was not confined to a specific population area, such as doctors, teachers, police, etc., because the responses of the people interviewed and evaluated were considered more important, according to standard parameters. The sample of the population of the study has been heterogeneous with respect to its level of studies, geographical origin, labor situation, gender and age. For this purpose, two sufficiently tested tests have been used; The MBTI for the Jungian Psychological Types and the MBI for the evaluation of Burnout Disorder. Relationships between the Jungian psychological types and the Burnout disorder have been found, confirming the hypotheses that revolved around the correlation of both constructs.
