Abstract

The thesis aims to explore the world of both extrinsic motivations of workers (arising from the material recognition for the activity 'turning point) and intrinsic (that drive the individual to perform an action / task to the satisfaction / benificio this will be based) in the world of social work. Why do people act in a certain way? What are the forces that drive people's behavior? Work motivation can be defined as the indoor unit that leads the individual to apply for hard work, as a kind of inner strength that stimulates, regulates and supports the major actions taken by the person. The motivational system can be understood as a set of needs perceived with varying intensity and their relationships and behavior. It can be described in a cyclic manner, the origin of the need, perceived as an internal tension, the individual search for the means to fulfill; when the subject is able to meet their own needs reassessed the situation and check for new needs. It is intrinsic to the individual and can not be induced from the outside, through external interventions can encourage or, at most, to feed it. The performance of workers in a workplace stems from several factors. In contrast to classical economics, many economic experiments have shown that money is not the only reason is behind the efforts of each employee. In a work environment where individuals must complete a task, it is essential for the employer to understand the motivations of the task entrusted to the employee and personal satisfaction that can be learned. The intrinsic and extrinsic motivations were treated in most fields of study, but this study aims to contribute especially to give a quantitative measure of intrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation in the workplace has a key role in productivity and that is a very subjective behavior conductor, it is extremely difficult to identify. This study wants approfonfire the actual situation in "deep" motivations today a worker employed in the social services sector. The intent of this research is to understand if and how the work on social services facilitate or less self-esteem, the answers are uncertain what the motivation and perceived quality of service operators.
