Zusammenfassung

My thesis aims to promote and reinforce the concept of lawfulness, to support the concept of legality in the context of the various educational activities and to encourage teacher awareness. Procedure: The procedure includes reading, study and research as well as personal experience. It also incorporates the opinions and testimonials from interviews with a selection of teachers with varied teaching experience, chosen because of their age, school and city with the aim to examining the educational values and level of training regarding legality. Result: The result of the research, sometimes surprising, is very interesting. It clarifies the valuable and indispensable role of the educational work that must be done in schools to train young people and, even prior to that, the faculty members, about the cultural values of legality. Conclusion: In conclusion, I feel my thesis is a brief overview of the rules of good practice pertinent to a broad and invaluable approach to legality within an educational context. This work completes my PH.D course and the study and research, personal insights and real-life encounters (which, in fact, also reflect a life choice made during a very difficult moment for my whole family) have given me a huge incentive to continue on my chosen path. The work has also provided me with further resources that will sustain me on this long and challenging journey. I consider my work a brief overview of the rules of good practice because in re-reading it I found a simple and effective way of reflecting on how to get in touch with oneself and those around us and, at the same time, discovered the true essence of existence. I myself have found inspiration from it and I hope it will be useful to others as well. Judge Falcone’s well-known statement has helped me so much to gain a clearer insight into the essential essence of existence and I intentionally quote it in my text: “in order for a society to work well, it must move with progress honouring the values of family, of the spirit, of well-being, of friendship; in order to prosper without conflict among the various social sectors and serenely follow the path to a better tomorrow, it is enough that each one of us does their duty "(Giovanni Falcone, 1991).
