Resumen

To support this work it was used as main theoretical contribution the theory of conceptual fields of Vergnaud enriched by the vision of Greca and Moreira (2004), in addition to Ausubel's meaningful learning theory, and Vygotsky's theory of mediation, as well as the epistemological theory of Stephen Toulmin. To Vergnaud (1993, p. 9), the concepts consist of operational invariants, symbolic representations and the resolution of situations. According to this author, the domain of a conceptual field takes a long time, with advances and setbacks. In the epistemological view of Toulmin (Ibid.), the construction of a concept goes through an evolutionary process.
