Resumo

Plant parasitic nematodes such as Globodera rostochiensis affect potato cultivation, reducing its production up to a 75%. Animal, plant and anthropogenic wastes were used, by applying biodesinfection / solarization strategies, with nematicide purposes. After their biodegradation in the soil, those wastes were able to regulate pathogenic nematode populations. The determination of metabolic activity in soil by monitoring a particular enzyme profile is a novel, very sensitive tool. This thesis aims firstly to search for enzymatic components related to nematicide action on (G.rostochiensis) and, secondly to decipher, if possible, on which enzymatic / physicochemical region integrates the nematicide capacity of a resilient soil, and who can be credited with it. Besides, establishing metabolic flow diagrams will allow us to set up clear criteria for the impact of each amendment on the soil and on the production.
