Abstract
This article shows the experiences obtained in the carrying out of the in situ recycling of pavement using cement works executed in the province of Palencia, by the Consejería de Fomento of the Junta de Castilla and León in Spain. These actions have taken place in roads of low traffic intensity, with percentages of heavy traffic lower than 10%, with clear seasonal peaks (agricultural areas). They are roads with a very old pavement formed by a macadam of variable thickness and very polluted in certain points, and with successive superficial treatments or cold bituminous mixture reinforcements. They also presented serious deformations by traffic loads that exceeded their load-carrying capacity. The works that are presented have been developed among 1999 and 2004. The total longitude of the road recycled is about 130 km and around 67000 m2 of recycled surface.
