Abstract
The aim of this article is to present a part of a European research carried out in network by different Unions and Universities. The premise is to realize an empirical approximation, and to know what really happens in the companies in related to the participation of the workers. In spite of the importance that labor institutions and companies are granted to the worker participation, the information obtained of the survey aimed to significant companies in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country (with the aim of measuring the real participation) presents a situation that can be qualified of negative.
