Abstract
The services of Don Juan de Fonseca to doña Juana, or rather, to the Kings in the death of his daughter were many, and are discussed in the first part of the job, then present some novel findings documentary on her father�s debts Queen Juana paid to the Consulate of Burgos from 1512. Since 1511 there is the appointment of Burgos in all decision- making positions in India, including that of Fonseca himself as the Bishop of Burgos. ¿Of these concessions could be the political price paid to the Crown by the tens of thousands of ducats that the consulate provided and is not always recovered?
