Abstract

The aim is expose the stage methodology and the advantages that it suposes in the data capture about personal and socioafectives children´s competences synthesized in the Efficient Personality construct (PE) (Martín del Buey, 2006). This construct includes four areas of self: strengths of self, demands of self, challenges of self, relationship of self. The sample that we used were 136 students of second and third cycle of Primary School. The method consisted in the stages elaboration choosing the variables of each one of the construct areas. Stages presentation was accompanied with some images that will help to the students to understand the posed situations and to make easy the answers elicitation. It was obtained more than 1200 answers. Analysing qualitatively the answers we can distinguish its with different frecuency and similar o different contents according to the age.
