Abstract
The purpose of this communication is to analyze the incidence of the crisis in the cooperation policy in the matter of education. In first place, we describe the main features which characterize the cooperation policy in the educational field last years, paying an special attention on the Spanish cooperation policy. Subsequently, we analyze the flows of educational aid in the period 1997-2010, focusing our research in the aid assigned to the educational sector which Latin-American and Caribbean countries receive. We distinguish two educational levels: Primary and Secondary education. For each level we display data of committed aid in the period 1997.2010, committed aid per inhabitant and the proportion that educational aid represents in each level inside the total educational aid in this period. We conclude with the conclusions that we can extract from the analysis carried out.
