Laburpena

The purpose of this paper is a short introduction to the figure of the civil and criminal mediation. First, we will study civil mediation, concept, characters and its current legislation, both at European and national level. After seeing this, we turn to criminal mediation, focusing on restorative justice, definitions, characters and objectives. Finally we assess the lack of regulation that has this figure and briefly discuss the Criminal Procedure Code and the projects pilots of our courts.
