Résumé
The melting transition or thermal DNA is still not completely understood due to the lack of structural information during the transition. In recent years neutron scattering techniques have proved to be suitable to account for this lack of information. Specifically the melting of fiber DNA submerged in different solutions (‘’wet fibers’’) is mostly an unstudied avenue. In this work samples of fiber DNA in PEG and ethanol/water solutions are studied by DSC calorimetry, X-ray diffraction and neutron scattering in order to address the open questions about the optimal parameters for performing a melting experiment in wet DNA fibers.
