Abstract

In the last decades of the Five Hundred, the sixth counts of Miranda knew how to combine the symbolic values of the visual arts with the representativeness and the image of the lineage from which they were heirs. Nevertheless, their aesthetic proposal was defined by their vital experience in wich the Italian influence, after residing in Naples like viceroys, reached a singular protagonism. Their stay in these lands allowed them to come into contact with advanced artistic bets wich would decisively outline their personal taste, reflected in the works given to their foundations and in the collection formed by different pieces, cause of the eclecticism of this moment.
