Resumen
The isobaric vapor-liquid equilibria (VLE) at 50.0, 101.3 and 200.0 kPa, have been measured for the binary system methyl nonafluorobutyl ether (HFE-71OO) + 2-propanol. Vapor-liquid equilibrium data have been correlated by means of Wilson, NRTL and UNIQUAC activity coefficient models. The Wilson and UNIQUAC equations yielded better correlations than NRTL equation. Thermodynamic consistency was cheeked applying the Wisniak point to point and area tests, and the Fredenslund point to point tests. The binary system shows positive azeotropes at every measured pressure.
