Résumé

The present work aims to offer a descriptive consideration of the purchasing behavior of the video gamer that allows knowing the contributions of the psychological, sociological and technological literature to detect the internal, external and interaction factors that affect the buying behavior of the videogame users. In this sense, a qualitative analysis is carried out by reviewing sixty-seven studies published during the last two decades in eight different digital multidisciplinary databases with the help of the content analysis software Atlatis.Ti7 to classify the information. The contributions of the work are: (1) The identification in the prior literature of the main theories and, variables of the internal, external and interactive of videogame users’ environment, (2) The exhibition of a multidisciplinary frame of reference for the study of the users of videogame users.
