Resumo

The newspaper of the Press of Movement in Burgos, La Voz de Castilla (1945-1976), the last created and one of first to disappear, was controlled by the Franco ́s regime y and the guidelines from Madrid Government. This work goes in depth on the instruments used to keep under control a newspaper that was born with the aim to legitimize and defend the policies of the dictatorship in Burgos. We will analyse how changed the ways of controlling and if there were significant modifications due to the poor information openness that was promoted by the Fraga Law in 1966 that repeals the Press Law of 1938. In addition to press, bibliographic and oral resources, we have used documents of the General Archive Administration (AGA) that demonstrate the censorial system the newspaper suffered. The work concludes that the Government intervention did not give in during 30 years and after the new Law of Press La Voz continued to be subjected to tight control.
