Zusammenfassung
Based on the cadastre of Ensenada as a source of historical data, a research work is carried out on the monastery of Rioseco. The foundation of this monastery of northern Burgos is related to the interaction of the Lordship by virtue of the royal privileges granted to it and projected on the jurisdictional abbatial exercise. The results of a detailed historical investigation are presented and it is now a current issue, under the recent initiatives of recovery of the building of the monastery today that is almost under ruin condition almost ten centuries after its foundation.
