Resum

This article aims to reflect on the preponderance of 26 of July Movement strategy and discourse. This is to verify the correspondence between discourse and guerilla practice during insurrectional stage of the Cuban Revolution (1956-1959), based on the ideology that permeated the discourse of the movement before and during the conflict in contrast to the statements a posteriori, resolving if the results achieved are the result of a previous proposal or make up a random set adapted to the reality that were found. The aim is to compare the discourse constructed with events, in order to analyze if previous thought corresponds with the Cuban rebellion praxis and, moreover, with the theoretical, military and policy development subsequent. The debate refers the press of the time, trying to show if the published during the insurrection is in line with the rebel ideology in writings.
