60 People with HIV (PHIV) in situation of social vulnerability, living in shelter houses/flats, were compared with 60 PHIV without vulnerability, in measures of impairment in Executive Functions (EF), through the BRIEF-A (Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function – Adult Version); and in measures of Quality of Life (QoL) level, through the Q-LES-Q (Quality of Life Enjoyment and Satisfaction). It was found that the PHIV in a situation of social vulnerability, with respect to the PHIV without a situation of social vulnerability: they have their own sociodemographic and clinical characteristics, they manifest global deterioration and in most of the components of the EF, and show lower overall levels and in various dimensions of the QoL. In addition, within the PHIV in a situation of social vulnerability, there is a moderate negative relationship between the deterioration in EF and the level of QoL.
