Zusammenfassung

The legislative approach promoted by the community institutions with the publication of six Directives to date, has generated a common procedural statute for suspects and defendants in criminal proceedings held in the European Union, which operates to benefit the mutual recognition of judicial decisions between Member States, for the mutual trust provided by their respective legal systems on this matter.
