Abstract

Alonso de Barros’ Filosofía cortesana is a court recreation subtly adapted on the board game «The Game of Goose». This article aims at explaining the teachings included in the game instructions about its special picture squares, where the conditions and difficulties a pretender to Court would face are placed.
