Resumen
El presente artículo consiste en la presentación de un escritor apenas conocido fuera de su país. Nació en Aberdeen, Escocia, en 1591. Fue un personaje controvertido, muy influenciado por su educación, hecho que le marcó en su obra y en toda su vida. Como consecuencia de su firme adhesión a la escuela aristotélica, tuvo grandes detractores e importantes apoyos. Su obra es muy variada en cuanto a la temática, que discurre desde temas filosóficos hasta astronomía y obras versadas en el cristianismo, como la obra que se presenta en este artículo, Virgilii Evangelizantis Christiados. Las lenguas que utiliza son el Inglés y el Latín, indistintamente.
