Resumen

The main aim of this work is to precipitate heavy metals, contained in an environment liquid originated in an extraction process of sludge from an urban sewage works of Burgos' city These heavy metals also called potentially toxic elements, because they suppose important environmental risks and they may be very toxic even at very low concentrations. In the present study, heavy metals removal from pollutant liquid environment can be accomplished by increasing pH using as reagent NaOH 3N, inducing metal precipitation as insoluble hydroxides.
