Abstract
The ELLA Project is a learning platform which was developed to help learn English. It started as part of the agreement between the Spanish Ministry of Education and the regional government of Asturias, within the scheme to foster the learning of English among young people aged between 18 and 30. This article analyses the main features of this platform in detail, as well as it highlights some aspects of the platform that could be improved. Thanks to the article, it is easy to realise that the platform may be used as a distance course in itself or as a complement to face-to-face or distance English courses alike
