Abstract

This experience has been carried out during the school year 2014-2015 at the Faculty of Education at the University of Burgos. The subject is Physical Education and Teaching, belonging to the 2nd year of the Degree in Primary Education. 33 students participated in the group A. As a reflective element, periodic group discussions were performed, playing roles from real situations in the context of physical education. Figure moderator shift was used, thus promoting the participation of all group members. It was also used Twitter, creating a Hashtag on the subject that allowed members of each group were commenting on the debate and exposing various ideas. Discussions were structured in different blocks so that information could be collected more organized after finishing them. At the end of the course students had to submit a report on the interest of experience. Students highly appreciated the use of twitter, as it served to promote constant interaction between classmates and allowed them to compare the information on the network. They could also delved into different issues under discussion and reinforce through teacher feedback the contents worked in the subject. In conclusion, the importance of regularly used in the classroom social networks like Twitter is observed, because of the motivational component that generates in students.
