Abstract

We live in a world of permanent changes, in a society increasingly diverse, reason why the necessity is imposed of thinking the Mathematics as a group of knowledge for students that will make use of its competitions that allow him to understand and to improve the reality that plays them to live. To learn Mathematics from this perspective will be then to reach the development of capacities that contribute to the acting and way of the so much scholars' performance in the current society as future. The present work offers us some reflections on the humanist focus of the mathematical education for the Special Teaching emphasizing its attention so much in the focuses of the treatment of the contents as in the paper that play the methods and procedures in the process of teaching-learning of this area of the knowledge. In this sense they offer considerations keeping in mind the Mathematics's humanist focus that allow the teacher and the student to work in a preventive way in the correction-compensation starting from the mathematical contents.
