Resumen
La búsqueda de una mejor calidad de vida y la tendencia hacia la mejora continua se han convertido hoy en día en modelo de referencia en las organizaciones sociales. Estos logros permiten encontrar la coherencia y desarrollar prácticas basadas en la comprensión y consideración de la persona como centro de toda actuación. El apoyo ofrecido a las personas con Trastornos del Espectro Autista (TEA) no se he visto afectado por este concepto de calidad, debido a las serias dificultades asociadas a este trastorno y que afectan a las áreas principales del desarrollo personal, lo que requiere que las organizaciones proporcionen herramientas y recursos que garanticen la calidad de los servicios de apoyo. Para ello se ha seguido una metodología basada en el diseño y validación de la Guía de Indicadores de Calidad de vida, que consta de 68 indicadores agrupados en 6 áreas. Esta herramienta es un intento de dotar de un marco de referencia a las organizaciones que lo deseen, para luchar con el problema de la calidad de vida, y asumir los avances en nuevas formas de enriquecer la asistencia para las personas con TEA
