Abstract

Active methodologies and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), essential in the teaching-learning process of English in a broad range of curricular contexts, allow for the possibility of researching from the perspectives of students at different educational levels and pre-service teachers. The implementation of active methodologies in the teaching-learning process of foreign languages has entailed a great methodological change promoting the acquisition of personal and academic curricular competences, these methodologies enable students to further develop the necessary social skills and competences for their professional future. This doctoral dissertation delves into the application of active methodologies and ICT in integrated curricular and training contexts, especially in the research of Project Based Learning and the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach in the bilingual classroom.
