The group aims to distinguish itself by its scientific contributions on life-long training processes, training for the elderly, social and educational networks, e-learning training and support, entrepreneurship, and local development. It aims to respond to social needs and expand political initiatives to promote the autonomy of the elderly, leisure and employment. The fields of research are developed at the local, national and international level, with a strong training and research presence in Latin America. The group, through the design of training programs that promote autonomy and prevent dependency of the elderly, seek to develop technological innovations pedagogical structure for application in different social contexts to learning throughout life as active aging strategy and prevention of dependency.
